Endangered Species... So What?
There is no one word to describe nature: it is at once spectacular, magnificent, extravagant, rich and fragile!
Ever since life appeared on Earth, there as been a succession of animal species. Major planetary upheavals have periodically transformed the conditions of life to the point where certain species have been obliged to make way for others, better adapted. Since the time of industrialization, however, the meter has spun out of control: the human population has increased dramatically, and the pressure exerted on our environment has become unbearable for animal species driven toward extinction for lack of space and protection. With the relatively recent phenomenon of climate change, we now find ourselves up against a major world crisis that may forever change the face of our beautiful planet.
